One of the coolest places I have ever got to do a tour of. Learned a lot of really cool facts about the place and the city as well.

Everyone in the area, should visit the United States naval academy. Admission is free, it's not hard to get in, and the place is filled with amazing history. There are museums and exhibits that I have yet to visit. Ladies and gentlemen, the United States Navy is the best Navy in the entire world. The reason we have free-trade all over the world and don't have to worry about pirates is our navy. This place churns out amazing officers with the highest morals in the world. Many foreign countries send their own naval officer candidates to study here.

Great place to learn of naval history past, present, and future. Amazing architecture combined with statues, cannons, and even torpedoes!! Sporting events at the college level is always entertaining, but don't forget the scenery the academy has to offer. From boats and ships cruising the bay to the academy bridge at sunset, there is always something to snap a picture of. Anchors Away!!

My Alma Mater, beautiful campus with lots to see and do. Motivated young Midshipmen walking all around the yard, many historical landmarks and monuments to explore. Need an ID to enter the campus. Walking along the sea wall is incredible, watching the sail boats going up and down the Severn River, you can see all the way to the Chesapeake Bay Bridge on a clear day. Fun to wander around historic downtown Annapolis also, just a few minutes away from Gate 1.

So much history, not enough room to elaborate! I love walking on the academy. The atmosphere is amazing and you can see the measure of professionalism. We recently went to the midday formation before they marched into chow. So cool to see the formations and hear the cadence. The academy drill team also performed and it was excellent to say the least. Go Navy!

Do yourself a favor and visit it beautifully on the water with shopping and plenty of place to eat. The cathedral is beautiful and best of all it’s free.

I visited this place as a tourist and loved the tour! It is a tremendous and interesting historical site with rich history and great traditions associated with it. The academy has a lot of interesting buildings open to the public and a beautiful riverfront area. I would certainly recommend it for visiting!
